Basic Guide to Energy-flow Use

What we use in Psionics is famously known as Psi, Ki (Chi) in energy communities and Prana in yoga. In the techniques, I'll just be referring to it as energy.

Today, we will learn to control what I call energy-flow. It is the energy our bodies create in excess when in a state of pure focus or during their optimal function.

Developing Ki/Psi Control

Look for a quiet place to do this, as you would for meditation. Get into a comfortable position. Close your eyes. Forget about controlling energy and everything else bothering you. And stress, you will release through your breath. Breathe in while counting to four. Hold your breath for three, and breathe out in four. As you breathe out, feel the tension leaving your body. Repeat this, but try to focus on the area right under your nostrils.

To visualise energy is easy. You can visualise it as a white or golden light, which is most commonly used. Or you can visualise it as an element like water or fire.

Now, we'll start trying to feel our basic energy. Focus on your chest, your head and the lower abdomen, below your navel. These are the three locations of the dan-tiens. Let's call them energy centres from now on. Without touching those locations, try to feel what sensations you're feeling right now in those energy centres. Which ones are giving you the most sensations right now? Are you feeling a bit of stress? Maybe you feel a positive sensation there? Explore it, as it's a part of your energy body. The one providing you with the most sensation is going to be the one you'll be using.

Visualise a swirling mass of energy in the energy centre of your choosing. Visualise the energy moving through every part of your body, and as it passes through each part, feel that specific part relaxing.

You should feel a weird feeling in your body. You can get a similar feeling to this while practising Tai Chi with a master. It's a feeling similar to flow (the psychological term). We're essentially manipulating the Ki generated by our energy body.

Psi/Ki Ball

Move some energy to your hands. Do this repeatedly until you have a strange feeling in your hands. Usually, people describe their hands as twitching or vibrating.

Feel your palms releasing the energy into the space between your two hands. Feel it forming a ball. There is no catch. Just keep on letting energy flow to your hands and then out. Do that for a few minutes every day or so. Eventually, you will be able to feel the energy ball once you've mastered this technique.

When you can do this, try to mould the energy into that of a physical object. Practice moving the energy around your body, behind you, under you and above you. Make sure you are comfortable with it. This builds your manipulation skill and can really benefit you if you're interested in construct creation.

Charging

Move a lot of energy towards one part of your body. These charges that area. Moving energy towards one part of your body creates a 'focal point'. You can make it release energy whenever you want, but to do that, first master the energy ball.

Ki-induced Flow

This is another form of charging, which I discovered as a kid. This seems a little bit silly, but it is actually a really interesting method of inducing flow and would work for adults as well.

Feel the energy inside your entire body. Feel the energy move inside your legs, your abdomen, chest, arms and head. Now, let some energy gather from outside inside your body, and let it build up in your body for a few seconds. Feel ALL of the energy rushing, like a burst or explosion of energy, towards your skin. Then feel the energy moving in and out of your skin.

Emotion Manipulation

Emotion is energy. It can be manipulated as such, and influenced by constructs. Emotions are not generated by a singular focal point within the energy body, but the cumulative interactions between all of them. This gives us multiple ways to go about manipulating emotion.

Emotion Removal

To start, you need to feel those feelings moving somewhere else. They won't feel like emotions anymore, only negative or positive energy, depending on how you perceive energy. Feel the emotion moving to your hands and release it. It is energy, and it will feel like you are making an energy ball.
Another way is to put your right index fingertip against your forehead. Then feel the emotion moving from your body into your finger. Will it to go into your finger. Pull your finger outwards, and then you should feel the stress in your finger. Touch something, and force it out of your finger. Afterwards, your body would feel more neutral or more 'positive'. Remember, this is only temporary, because these feelings are generated subconsciously.
To remove emotion permanently, create a construct that absorbs that sort of energy. For beginners, I suggest creating a separate construct for each type of energy. Update the construct often, so it becomes more effective over time. Thereafter, let the construct release the energy into the air or save the energy for future use.

To repel certain energies, you can create a construct that literally pushes these energies away or absorbs them. The first one I mentioned would be created inside the body, and the other outside.
If you are going to use TF to remove emotions, make sure you have it expel the energy somehow. I didn't mention how TF can become biofeedback if you program it properly, but that's something to be explored by the self.

Thought Manipulation

Thoughts are ideas or mental representations that arise from the process of thinking. The clarity of a thought usually depends on a person's interests and the importance of the incident, among other factors.

The aforementioned are also thoughts, but are linked with specific emotions, making them stand out more than others. If you have ever studied for a test and nothing seemed to stick, try linking it to some emotion. Try imagining it and live out the information you're reading. This makes it easier for the information to be absorbed by your brain. This might not sound much like thought manipulation, but it's the first step to understanding how one thinks.

Thought is a type of energy. It is very abundant in the Astral Plane, aka Conceptual Domain. In fact, the Astral Plane is an infinite realm containing thought energy. It is thought to be created by the Source, a prototype mind. We're basically just adding thoughts to an infinite space filled with thought energy. Because thought is energy, it can be manipulated. But first, you'll have to locate the centre where thinking takes place within your mind. When a thought pops up, try to feel where it comes from. You'll feel that it's somewhere in the brain (obvious, right?). Now you can start manipulating thought. Start small. Maybe start with basic telepathy or something that is widely practised among psions, which is telepathic suggestion or something of a similar fashion.

Before actually trying it on a being, make sure you have established a strong connection with the being. The best type of connection would be a connection forged with trust.

Usually, because these thoughts are brought to the mental landscape of an individual, these thoughts can easily be removed, even though not permanently. I believe permanent thought removal requires strong tulpamancy in order to reach the individual's subconscious mind, where thoughts are "controlled", in a sense.

The preternatural's blend-in with "normalcy"

Imagine every person you know started their day off with a personalized version of the LBRP ritual and went to coven meetings ? The unrealized normality of "magic" is often underrated and overlooked. When my mind starts wandering into the theory of magical practice, I do think it definitely doesn't seem as everyday as most things, but could definitely be at further inspection. The general symbolism and near-superstition we attach to the mundane everyday routine is what, I assume, contributes to our reassurance that whatever we've done is done right the first time. Note that dictionary definitions for mundane such as "banal" or "unimaginative" could suggest boringness, but I'm sure most people would agree that an unimaginative get-together is still something that could be enjoyed if conversation– which I also consider quotidian – is satisfactory. Hence 'being satisfied' and the sense of enjoyment could still be present alongside our eve...

My favourite topics within Physics.

Ever since I was a first grader I had a deep interest in Astronomy. During grade 3 I had started developing an interest in Chemistry. I enjoyed reading about these topics, because they are straight forward topics and not too ambiguous. And yes, science can become ambiguous, such as some of the stuff in quantum mechanics. So, in this post, I've decided to compile a list of things in Physics that interest me most. Just so you know, Einstein and Hawking really were the OG's. 1. Black Holes Credit: EHT Collaboration When I learned about black holes in grade 2, you could say I entered some sort of existential crisis. I was so scared about the fact that our milky way had a black hole in the middle of it that I had my mother assure me that we wouldn't be swallowed by it. These days, as I read more and more about the topic, I just get more and more perplexed by how complex our universe is, and what this extreme body does to it. For a basic overview, a black hole is a body that form...

My Not-So-Secret Hobby

Photo by luis gomes You might or might not know this, but I started learning to code in 2021. A dear friend taught me the basics of Python, but it was essentially up to me to decide if I was going to further my self-education of this coding language. At the time he taught me about variables, loops, lists and dictionaries in 3 days. Even though it was a lot to take in, it was something I really wanted to learn, which made it easier for me to absorb. I was hooked, until I realized I didn't have enough knowledge to build basically anything, which led me to try and learn from freecodecamp. It didn't work for me, honestly. The lessons were "interactive" in a sense, but weren't split into episodes or chapters which would've made it easier to keep track of where I left off the previous session. I tried other sources on YT to no avail. Udemy was next. This one helped me immensely to build both skill and confidence in my ability to code. Though I'm still building ...
