Energy Programming

This entire post has a lot to unpack. I hope you'll find it helpful for you.

Thoughtforms are intent-based constructs charged with energy. Spells and energy constructs are examples of this. Spells are usually very abstract, and work in very arbitrary ways. An example of a spell would be wanting a high test score, casting the spell a week or two before you write the test, then getting the exact questions you need to do well. It's moreso influencing probability than anything else. My theory is that they make changes at a fundamental level, which butterfly effects into the outcome you wished for. That is why giving spells some time is the best way to make sure they work.

Thoughtforms can develop sentience as with many other objects birthed from the Astral Plane (or the conceptual domain). If you start talking to them, they might talk back by developing a personality. They might even become a Tulpa, which is a sentient TF with a personality, memories and everything. Godforms may also be sentient, but I'm not very knowledgeable on that.

In this particular post, we're making the psionic version of Energy Constructs. An energy construct focuses on carrying out one small task. These can be created within the span of a minute or few, depending on its complexity. The eventual point of creating constructs is to make them interconnected, so they can work in-tandem with one another.

In many cases of construct creation, you will need to access a type of mental state called "flow". In chaos magic, this is an AMS and in mysticism, it's a weaker form of bliss. You generally achieve this state when you are in near-peak mental health and doing something that requires serious focus, like studying. Flow allows you to learn much quicker and focus for long periods of time. In tantrik-yoga, it causes energy to flow more freely throughout the body, which would otherwise pool in a singular place (energy basket).

Programming

Energy Programming is the act of bestowing certain attributes, function, instruction or form to energy with the use of intent. Constructs are masses of energy, programmed with intent (by the mind) to perform an intended task. In essence, they're concepts given life.

The average person cannot solely focus one thing for more than a minute without breaking focus. Energy constructs perform those tedious tasks for you, so you can focus on your next endeavour.

NB! Read this through first and then memorise the steps for construct creation. You'll need to be quick when making the construct, so you don't lose focus on the energy before it dissipates. It takes a while for the energy to dissipate, but my point still stands.

PLEASE don't program literally. Program constructs without focusing too much about their literal shape if you struggle with an ill-disciplined mind.

When you start out doing energy constructs, keep in mind that constructs have their limitations. The amount of "energy" required to manifest or perform a task is determined by the difficulty of the said task. Energy can do a variety of things, including affecting luck and creating sentience. Using energy programming, a person can create links, energetic appendages, pocket worlds and (allegedly) manipulate energy fields around objects. Constructs can also transfer energy, thoughts and emotions, allowing access to the "psi" version of telepathy and empathy. Most psions use some sort of a pre-set created before making the construct, much like blueprints to a building. This is completely optional though. The pre-set is used to summarize the intent so it's easier to imbue in the energy. This is your script.

PsionicsOnline gave a nice pre-set to work with.

The Script

Let's start with an example:
*A one way thought transmitting construct

Name: TP-link 1
Form (or Structure): (you have to imagine this, optional)
Intent: Link my mind with 'name of person' and transmit thoughts from my mind to theirs.
Source: Me
Duration: Until process completed, unless destroyed earlier (if not fixed, specify it's duration before dissipation— in time intervals, or after, during or before certain occurrences/events)

Explanations of the above

Name or Call Method: This helps to identify constructs if the need arrives. In this case, we want to sort of "summon" the construct to our consciousness. This allows you to insert new programming in the construct. When calling it, use it's name and assume that the one you're calling is the same as the one you made.

Form: What the construct looks like, it's shape, colour and texture. You can give it a basic shape and colour or make it look like an everyday object. It depends on the purpose of the construct, so choose a form matching the construct's purpose. But, you can also keep it formless or a ball if you wish.

Intent: The purpose of the construct. This is what you want the construct to do. Start small. Visualize the construct doing what it should do, after shaping the energy into the actual construct.

Source: The construct needs fuel to keep itself from burning out and dissipating. Choose a fitting energy source for your construct, depending on the purpose and the duration of it. Usually I use the surrounding energy or my own as fuel. If the construct isn't working as well, pour more energy into it to make it stronger.

Duration: When you are first practicing, make the duration small. Try and see how long the construct can keep from dissipating. For duration I would honestly use the keyword or key action for my construct to pick up on, rather than time. Perception of time differs from person to person, so your construct may not know what the time is and not dissipate at all. Something like "Destroy construct *name here* when this happens" would be much better instead.

Putting everything together

After you have written down your intent, make sure you have it ready for use. People with ADHD might find this part extremely hard. Release the energy from your body and let it take the shape of the construct immediately. Keep this very simple at first. Start having the construct do what is on your "script". Visualize (feel) it completing its process. This is a basic construct. When you're a beginner, this should be your focus at the moment. Adding the name and duration is really hard, but when you're more experienced, you can add the source, time and name. If you want to try and be more advanced, try programming your construct purely through your subconscious.

Try destroying a construct by feeling it dissipating or just burning away. Keep it simple at first. Thereafter try combining constructs and create small multi-purpose structures.

Your first few construct might not last more than a few minutes, but they'll last longer over time.

So, just a quick review of the attributes a construct needs:
Structure, Intent (it's purpose), Source of energy (fuel), Duration, Call Method (name)

Create constructs that stay at a designated place so you can easily pick it up (a quiet, undisturbed area). This will help you to recognise energy. Also try connecting objects with constructs. It's not only fun, but is also linking and construct training.

The preternatural's blend-in with "normalcy"

Imagine every person you know started their day off with a personalized version of the LBRP ritual and went to coven meetings ? The unrealized normality of "magic" is often underrated and overlooked. When my mind starts wandering into the theory of magical practice, I do think it definitely doesn't seem as everyday as most things, but could definitely be at further inspection. The general symbolism and near-superstition we attach to the mundane everyday routine is what, I assume, contributes to our reassurance that whatever we've done is done right the first time. Note that dictionary definitions for mundane such as "banal" or "unimaginative" could suggest boringness, but I'm sure most people would agree that an unimaginative get-together is still something that could be enjoyed if conversation– which I also consider quotidian – is satisfactory. Hence 'being satisfied' and the sense of enjoyment could still be present alongside our eve...

My Not-So-Secret Hobby

Photo by luis gomes You might or might not know this, but I started learning to code in 2021. A dear friend taught me the basics of Python, but it was essentially up to me to decide if I was going to further my self-education of this coding language. At the time he taught me about variables, loops, lists and dictionaries in 3 days. Even though it was a lot to take in, it was something I really wanted to learn, which made it easier for me to absorb. I was hooked, until I realized I didn't have enough knowledge to build basically anything, which led me to try and learn from freecodecamp. It didn't work for me, honestly. The lessons were "interactive" in a sense, but weren't split into episodes or chapters which would've made it easier to keep track of where I left off the previous session. I tried other sources on YT to no avail. Udemy was next. This one helped me immensely to build both skill and confidence in my ability to code. Though I'm still building ...

My anime obsession

Anime has been a huge part of my life since 2013, when I watched Naruto and Sword Art Online. They were definitely some of the more popular ones at the time, with Naruto being part of the "Big 3". The other 2 constituents of the big 3 are One Piece and Bleach. Dragon Ball is one of the older anime, having been aired quite a few years before either of these previously mentioned anime— so you could say it's the elder or ancestor to these anime. These days, the anime that I indulge myself in are mostly isekai. Isekai anime usually have these main characters that were normal people in their past life who get transported to a new world with "swords and magic". Reverse isekai like Re:Creators also exist though, which is the opposite. Sword Art Online was my first isekai, but I wasn't aware of the genre at the time. That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime *or TenSura for short* was the anime that made me fall in love with the genre. This was later solidified by oth...
